What is the difference between NADIR Images and Oblique Images

NADIR Images

A NADIR image just means that the camera is facing directly beneath the camera/drone at the time of the exposure.

Oblique Images

A Oblique Image is an image that is taken at an angle other than a NADIR angle.

Avoid using too many NADIR Images in your Scanifly Models

Oblique images allow you to typically gather more details on site than a NADIR image. Particularly roof obstructions and the facades of structures will be greatly improved by utilizing more Oblique images during your flight pattern.
