What is a geo-tagged image?

A geo-tagged image includes geolocation information in the image EXIF data. Scanifly's photogrammetry engine uses this location data to scale the 3D model during processing.

You can check to see if the location data is included in the EXIF data by using an EXIF viewer like this one, or checking the image properties in Windows Explorer or Finder.
